One September day in 2022, respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un met senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. He was deeply worried about the issue of supplying dairy products to the children of nurseries and kindergartens. At that time, the children were not supplied with dairy products because nurseries and kindergartens were not run during the emergency anti-epidemic period. He told officials that if nurseries and kindergartens were not run during the emergency anti-epidemic period, they should have set up a dairy products supply system and provided the children with dairy products even by offering coupons to allow their families to get them, and that they should supply dairy prodcuts to the children regularly even in that way without leaving them unspent. And then he earnestly instructed that the new childcare policy of the Party should be correctly implemented, saying that it is aimed at cultivating the better future of the country by promoting the growth and development of all children and that the Party wants them to eat dairy products everyday, for 365 days of a year.
