One day in April 2019, respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Samjiyon Potato Farina Factory. At a production site, he looked round the newly-installed equipment and asked in detail how the factory planned to produce products in the future and when it would be able to improve the quality of products to a high level. Hearing the officials’ reply, he noted emphatically that even though it had modern equipment, quality products could not be produced if the technical knowledge and skills of the employees operating them were not high. That day, he repeatedly stressed the need for the officials to improve the technical knowledge and skills of their employees by all means and produce quality products by their efforts.
